Patch Notes Page 4

  • Tightened procedural NPC quest offers.
  • Mathias, Grym, Jules, and Trax now surface only 0-2 quest offers per round instead of exposing every generated errand at once.
  • Completed or failed procedural errands clear on round change so each new round can roll fresh local work without letting one NPC dump a full quest board into the HUD.
  • Polished quest dialogue and HUD presentation.
  • Generated quest responses now read as the player’s answer to an NPC prompt, with NPC work text changing to mention supplies, bills, errands, rare pieces, forge materials, or danger outside the walls.
  • The in-run status panel now sizes for its actual line spacing so larger quest stacks stay inside the notification frame.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.60.1-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Refined NPC quest turn-ins and hooks.
  • Active quest responses now appear directly in relevant NPC dialogue hubs, so delivery and fetch objectives no longer hide behind the original work submenu.
  • Message delivery quests can now be completed by speaking to the target NPC, including Mathias-to-Trax and Trax-to-Mathias courier jobs.
  • Added procedural dialogue quest variety.
  • NPCs now generate run-local fetch, payment, courier, rare-item, kill, and Grym forge errands from the existing dialogue quest system.
  • Kill quests can target a specific enemy archetype and the quest log now names that target in progress text.
  • Added Blacksmith forge crafting.
  • The authored Forge object in Blacksmith.tmx now opens a forge crafting interface with 2-4 randomized craftable items that do not require learned recipes.
  • Forge-crafted gear keeps the normal crafting ilvl bonus and adds an extra +5 ilvl from Grym’s forge.
  • Crafting while inside the Blacksmith now uses 20% fewer required materials, including learned recipe crafting from the authored Recipes object.
  • The Blacksmith entrance prompt now reads as entering the Blacksmith instead of the generic enter prompt.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.59.0-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Added a shuffled in-run music playlist.
  • New runs now shuffle Go Forth! plus the nine new authored run tracks, then reshuffle again after the playlist finishes.
  • Gameplay track data now lives in data/audio/gameplay_music.json so future run songs can be added without touching code.
  • Added an in-run now-playing mini-player.
  • A compact Playing: <track> popup now appears below the Copper/Gold wallet whenever gameplay music switches tracks.
  • Long track names scroll inside the mini-player and stay visible long enough to show the full title.
  • Gameplay playlist transitions now fade out near the end of the current song and fade into the next track.
  • The new authored .ogg run tracks have been lowered to match Go Forth! at roughly -25.8 LUFS, avoiding loud jumps between playlist entries.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.58.0-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Reduced stacked light overexposure.
  • Scene lights now blend into a bounded glow pass instead of compounding as aggressively toward full white when torches, spells, projectiles, and other emitters overlap.
  • Added a data-driven stackIntensityScale lighting tunable for future balance passes.
  • Added display controls for scene brightness and bloom.
  • Options now includes a Brightness slider and a Bloom toggle in the Display group.
  • Brightness and Bloom preferences persist with the player profile across sessions.

  • Fixed Blacksmith consumable art assignments.
  • Frenzy Tonic now uses FrenzyTonic.png.
  • Lodestone Magnet now uses the same Magnet.png asset as the Magnet pickup powerup.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.57.2-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Fixed Blacksmith item art assignments.
  • Frenzy Tonic now uses its dedicated Frenzy asset instead of the explosive reagent sheet.
  • Gunpowder and Coal now use the corrected left-to-right ExplosiveReagents.png sprite order.
  • Blacksmith teleport scrolls now read from the corrected row on Scrolls.png.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.57.1-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Added Grym’s Blacksmith interior and shop.
  • Blacksmith.tmx now links from Main.tmx, uses the shared day/night interior layer swap, and lets players speak with Grym at the authored Shop object.
  • Grym sells rotating blacksmith stock: crafting materials, special consumables, teleport scrolls, rare bombs, rare recipes, and a very rare legendary gear offer.
  • Expanded bombs and blacksmith crafting.
  • Added Coal, Gunpowder, and Fuse Spool reagents with the new ExplosiveReagents.png art.
  • Added Flint & Steel and Small Bomb crafting recipes; bomb crafting yields 3x bombs, while found/shop bombs remain single items.
  • Bombs now stack up to 10, and using a bomb now requires Flint & Steel in inventory.
  • The first failed bomb use without Flint & Steel triggers a one-time Kalibros lesson pointing players to Grym or crafting.
  • Added blacksmith exotic consumables.
  • Lodestone Magnet and Frenzy Tonic now go into inventory and activate only when used.
  • Added teleport scrolls for Trader, Pub, Church, South, North, Eastern Maze, and Western Maze destinations.
