Patch Notes Page 3

  • Expanded Blacksmith and bomb onboarding.
  • The first time the Forge comes onto the player’s screen inside the Blacksmith, Kalibros now explains how Grym’s Forge and the Recipe Desk differ, including rotating recipe-free forge offers, learned recipe crafting, reduced Blacksmith material costs, and stronger forge output.
  • The first time the player acquires a bomb, Kalibros now warns that bombs require Flint & Steel to light, can destroy some map objects including bridges, and can injure the Warden.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.7-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Expanded Blacksmith onboarding.
  • The first time the Blacksmith door comes into current fog-of-war vision, Kalibros now highlights it and explains that Grym can provide forge supplies, recipes, bombs, and stronger crafted gear.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.6-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Improved town door prompts.
  • Trader, Pub, and Church doors now name their destination in the world prompt before entry.
  • Fixed Grym’s Forge recipe rotation.
  • Forge recipe offerings now stay stable for the full current round, including after closing/reopening the forge or leaving and re-entering the Blacksmith.
  • The forge list now rotates on the next round instead of rerolling every time the forge opens.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.5-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Expanded the in-run music shuffle.
  • Pack 1 through Pack 5 now add 23 more authored songs to the gameplay playlist.
  • The new Pack tracks have been normalized to match Go Forth! and the previously tuned run songs at roughly -25.8 LUFS.
  • Polished the now-playing mini-player.
  • Song titles now come from the playlist title data and render as a clipped marquee instead of chopped text fragments.
  • Long track names now remain visible long enough to complete two marquee loops.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.4-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Tightened Jade’s Lightning Bolt overcharge range behavior.
  • Quick taps now fire a single-segment short bolt toward the cursor instead of stretching to the cursor.
  • Held bolts now grow to the cursor by the overcharge threshold and can extend beyond it when charged longer.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.3-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Added overcharge casting to Jade’s Lightning Bolt.
  • Lightning Bolt now fires when the hotkey is released: quick taps produce a very short strike, while longer holds extend the strike and increase its damage.
  • The Lightning Bolt hotbar icon now jiggles and fills with a pale charge overlay while the spell is being held.
  • Fully overcharged bolts now pierce projectile-blocking walls and barriers instead of stopping at the first center-line blocker.
  • Lightning Bolt charge tuning now lives in data/gameplay.json, and Android package metadata now reports 0.61.2-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Fixed Mathias service visibility.
  • Healing and shield blessing now remain visible in Mathias dialogue even when the player cannot currently afford them, so the confirmation step can explain the cost or failure.
  • Trax room rental now follows the same pattern: the rental option remains visible and payment failure is handled after confirmation.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.1-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Added run-local reputation and faction tracking.
  • Quests can now reward faction reputation for The Crown, The Church, Traders’ Circle, The Pub, and The Craftsmen’s Guild.
  • The Quest Log now includes a Reputation view showing each faction’s current run standing and unlock direction.
  • Enemy kills can be tracked by broad faction buckets such as Goblins, Orcs, Undead, and Beasts for future quest objectives.
  • Expanded NPC services.
  • Father Mathias now offers paid healing through a confirmation step and can prepare a paid shield blessing that activates after leaving the church.
  • Trax can rent the player a room, assign Bed One or Bed Two, and let the player sleep once to advance only the day/night phase.
  • Sleeping now fades smoothly to black, applies the time jump while hidden, then fades back in for a short rest transition.
  • Very rare sleep dream events can grant a round-long buff, while nightmares can apply a round-long debuff.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.61.0-android.0 for future refreshed APKs.
  • Improved trader reputation behavior.
  • Higher Traders’ Circle reputation improves Trax’s chance to stock RPG equipment within the existing four-offer shop layout.
  • Higher NPC reputation now modestly improves quest XP and currency rewards for that faction during the current run.
