Patch Notes Page 161

  • Fixed New Game menu starting at the wrong layout size in windowed 1920x1080.
  • RmlUi now initializes from the renderer’s real output size instead of relying on the requested window size before the OS finishes client-area adjustments.
  • The Warden select layout now starts in the correct viewport without needing a manual window resize to snap into place.
  • Added direct hired-merc interaction menus and trade management.
  • Press E on a hired merc to open a dialogue hub with talk, trade, and dismiss actions.
  • Merc trade now opens a shared character screen that can switch between the Warden and merc inventory views and transfer selected items between them.
  • Mercs now support runtime equipment and consumable inventories.
  • Hired mercs can equip RPG gear, gain the resulting stat and bag-capacity changes, and auto-consume traded healing items during combat.
  • Merc inventory view now shows merc-specific stats, hides the player hotbar, and keeps item-detail consumable info tied to the active owner.
  • Dismissed mercs now leave the field cleanly instead of disappearing in place.
  • Dismissed hires walk back toward the pub exit when possible, stop blocking a new merc contract immediately, and clear trade state correctly if inventory closes through hotkeys or map transitions.
  • Fixed New Game panel collapse at 1920x1080.
  • The Warden details layout now keeps its name row and two-column content widths stable even when Infinite mode adds more text.
  • The 1920x1080 layout now compacts earlier so the Infinite description fits without forcing the broken scroll/collapse state in the details panel.
  • Fixed the remaining New Game detail-panel collapse at 1920x1080.
  • Long Warden descriptions now scroll only inside the left text column instead of collapsing the entire details section.
  • The Warden name row and Attributes panel now stay stretched to the full details width even when the lower description area overflows.
  • Improved New Game detail readability at 1920x1080.
  • The Warden live preview panel is shorter, which gives the lower details section more room for specialties and perk text.
  • The perk row now has more visible space before scrolling is needed in the Warden details column.
  • Compactified the Talent Tree overlay.
  • The Talent screen now uses narrower side panels and tighter spacing so the layout wastes less space and reads more cleanly.
  • Talent nodes now open at a slightly closer default zoom so the tree fills the center viewport better before manual pan/zoom.
  • Simplified the Talent Tree side panels.
  • Champion and node details now live in one compact left sidebar instead of separate left and right panels.
  • The talent tree viewport now gets the reclaimed width, which removes the large dead-space column on the right side of the overlay.
  • Fixed Talent Tree overlay positioning.
  • The Talent window now centers correctly on the screen instead of anchoring itself to the top-left corner.
