v0.0.898
Section titled “v0.0.898”- Tightened the Dragon’s launch damage reach.
- Airborne Dragon contact checks now use the body hitbox instead of the full sprite footprint, so launch and flight no longer hit from implausibly far away.
- Reduced early Dragon damage spikes.
- Wave-10 Dragon melee/contact damage now starts lower and ramps more cleanly into later rounds.
- Dragon fire breath damage was also trimmed so the first boss encounter is less likely to one-shot healthy players.
v0.0.897
Section titled “v0.0.897”- Limited Father Mathias’s chapel blessing to one use per round.
- The healing dialogue now tells you the blessing is once per round before purchase.
- After using it, Father Mathias explicitly tells you to return next round for another full heal.
v0.0.896
Section titled “v0.0.896”- Fixed Father Mathias healing only partially applying in the chapel.
- The church blessing now persists both restored health and restored shields while you remain inside the interior.
v0.0.895
Section titled “v0.0.895”- Toned down fast event enemies.
- Assassinate Spawners and bounty-event enemies now use lower base move-speed tuning from
data/gameplay.json. - Bounty board elite and boss writ targets now use smaller speed multipliers, reducing surprise sprint spikes in later waves.
- Added stagger to high-speed event threats.
- Event-marked and bounty-board enemies now briefly lose speed when damaged, making fast pursuers easier to read and kite without removing their pressure entirely.
v0.0.894
Section titled “v0.0.894”- Fixed attack audio replaying on dead enemies.
- Hero auto-attacks now ignore enemies with
0health when choosing a target, so sword and bow attack sounds stop retriggering on corpses that are waiting to despawn.
v0.0.892
Section titled “v0.0.892”- Added Loot Goblins.
- Goblins can now roll into a cyan-marked Loot Goblin variant that laughs on spawn, refuses to attack, sprints away from nearby players, and leaves copper behind while fleeing.
- Loot Goblins no longer block wave completion; if they survive as the last enemy, the wave advances, they escape, and a toast reports it.
- Killing a Loot Goblin now showers the ground with multiple high-value item drops instead of normal goblin rewards.
- Added loot goblin tuning controls.
data/gameplay.jsonnow exposes spawn chance, flee/run/rest pacing, copper trail values, death-loot counts, and a wave-1 force-spawn toggle for dev testing.
v0.0.891
Section titled “v0.0.891”- Refined weather toast sizing.
- Only the round weather toast now uses the wider auto-fit layout.
- Other toasts no longer stretch to match the weather toast width.
- Toasts now hug their own content more closely, reducing the extra empty space after short messages.
v0.0.890
Section titled “v0.0.890”- Fixed weather toast sizing.
- Round weather toasts now expand to fit longer modifier text instead of clipping inside the old short pickup-toast width.
- The fix applies to both the legacy toast renderer and the Rml HUD toast stack.
