Patch Notes Page 6

  • Refined Android ability and action button layout.
  • Android now shows only ability buttons 1, 2, 3, and 4; the Warden primary auto-attack slot is no longer displayed as a touch button.
  • The four visible ability buttons now use a controller-style diamond layout on the right side.
  • Dash, Use, Item, R, and F have been reorganized above and around the ability diamond instead of sitting in the old right-stick area.
  • Android raw touch handling keeps those ability buttons tappable while a separate finger is actively holding the left virtual joystick.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.56.5-android.0 for refreshed APKs.
  • Refined Android touch combat controls.
  • Removed the right virtual joystick and reorganized the Android action buttons into the freed lower-right space.
  • Android ability HUD taps now only select/focus the ability button instead of firing immediately and spending energy.
  • The left movement joystick now sits 30 px higher and 30 px farther right with a tighter capture zone so middle-screen taps do not start movement.
  • Improved Android minimap readability.
  • The in-game minimap is much larger on Android phone/tablet surfaces.
  • The Copper/Gold wallet readout below the minimap is larger and aligned to the wider minimap frame.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.56.4-android.0 for refreshed APKs.
  • Improved Android in-game readability and zoom.
  • Android UI density and in-game HUD scaling are modestly larger so phone text is easier to read without changing desktop sizing.
  • Android pinch/controller zoom now clamps at a closer 4.5x maximum in both touch handling and the shared camera system.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.56.3-android.0 for refreshed APKs.
  • Fixed Android touch controls inside interiors.
  • Virtual joysticks and on-screen action buttons now remain visible after entering interiors.
  • Interior map transitions still freeze outside-world simulation and vitals, but no longer count as a modal pause for the Android touch HUD.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.56.2-android.0 for the refreshed APKs.
  • Updated the Android launcher icon.
  • Android APKs now declare launcher icon resources generated from the same press-kit app icon used for the Windows build.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.56.1-android.0 for the refreshed APKs.
  • Added Android ability auto-lock for touch casting.
  • Tapping an offensive Warden ability button on Android now aims that cast at the nearest valid enemy before firing.
  • Utility, heal, summon, stance, disguise, and builder-support abilities keep their normal manual/self-target behavior.
  • Options now includes an Android Ability Auto-Lock toggle, enabled by default and persisted with the profile.
  • Refined Android ability button placement.
  • Ability buttons now use individual circular hit targets arranged in a wider arc around the right virtual stick instead of relying on one straight strip.
  • Android raw touch fallback and RmlUI ability clicks now share the same tap execution path to avoid inconsistent mobile behavior.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.56.0-android.0 for the refreshed APKs.
  • Refined Android handheld controls and combat HUD readability.
  • The left movement joystick now sits 30 px farther right and 30 px higher for easier thumb reach.
  • Android now starts and clamps pinch zoom at a 20% closer maximum zoom-in level.
  • The bottom-center health, shield, energy, dash, and Lives HUD is larger with larger text for phone screens.
  • Improved Android ability buttons.
  • Ability 1, Ability 2, Ability 3, and Ultimate now use larger circular RmlUI touch targets with more spacing between buttons.
  • Tapping an ability button directly activates that ability instead of only highlighting the HUD slot.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.55.1-android.0 for the refreshed APKs.
  • Refined the Android handheld gameplay HUD.
  • Health, shield, energy, dash, and Lives now sit together in a bottom-center resource cluster sized for phone play.
  • Tapping that resource cluster opens the Hotkeys HUD as a flyout instead of keeping it permanently on screen.
  • The Android pause button now sits to the left of the minimap instead of overlapping it.
  • Improved Android touch controls.
  • The left movement joystick is shifted slightly up and right, uses stronger sensitivity, and keeps the smoothed single-finger capture from the previous build.
  • Added a right-side virtual joystick that emulates controller right-stick aiming and camera input.
  • Android gameplay now supports pinch zoom and starts new runs at the closest default zoom.
  • Cleaned up the Android action layout.
  • The old inventory and hotbar touch overlay buttons are hidden during Android gameplay.
  • Ability 1, Ability 2, Ability 3, and Ultimate now use the existing RmlUI ability buttons/assets as the touch targets.
  • Android package metadata now reports 0.55.0-android.0 for the refreshed APKs.
