Menu Wheel,Utility Wheel,Zoom In, andZoom Out. - Fresh/default controller bindings now use
D-Pad UpandD-Pad Downfor gameplay zoom. - Updated the controller Hotkeys HUD to match the new wheel layout.
- On controller, the Hotkeys panel now shows separate
Menu WheelandUtility Wheelrows instead of a single legacy radial row.
v0.33.3
Section titled “v0.33.3”- Fixed controller cursor ownership and prompt rendering overhead.
- Controller aiming now holds onto cursor ownership cleanly enough that the OS cursor no longer flickers back onscreen during pad use.
- Short UI and PromptFont strings now reuse cached SDL text textures instead of rebuilding them every frame, which reduces the recent HUD/prompt rendering cost spike.
- Tightened prompt-card layout polish.
- The controller command wheel center card now wraps its helper copy instead of letting it overrun the panel.
- Shrine activation prompts now size taller so the PromptFont action line no longer hangs below the card.
v0.33.1
Section titled “v0.33.1”- Improved controller command wheel feel and HUD clarity.
- The command wheel now uses the right stick for selection, and controller aiming pauses while the wheel owns that stick.
- The radial layout now uses a roomier spacing pass with cleaner slice cards and a less cramped center label.
- Simplified the controller Hotkeys panel.
- On controller, the Hotkeys panel now shows a single
Command Wheelrow instead of pretending Inventory, Quests, Crafting, Talents, Abilities, Ability Shop, and Action Log still have separate direct controller hotkeys. - That row now shows the
View/Backprompt used to open the radial itself.
v0.33.0
Section titled “v0.33.0”- Added a controller command wheel for the major in-run menus.
- Hold
View/Back, tilt the left stick or press the D-pad, then release to open Inventory, Quests, Talents, Abilities, Ability Shop, Crafting, Action Log, or Hotkeys. - The Hotkeys HUD now shows those command-wheel prompts on controller when a menu does not have its own direct controller binding.
- Simplified default controller menu access.
- The old direct D-pad menu shortcuts and
View-to-Inventory default are removed from fresh/default controller bindings. Crafting,Action Log, and the Hotkeys toggle keep their direct controller defaults onR3,L3, andBoth Analog Click (L3 + R3).- Added controller camera zoom fallback while using the command-wheel modifier.
- Holding
View/Backand pushing the right stick up or down now feeds the existing gameplay zoom path without needing a mouse wheel.
v0.32.9
Section titled “v0.32.9”- Added remappable Hotkeys toggle bindings.
- The Hotkeys panel toggle is now a real remappable action in Options instead of being hardwired to
Delete. - Controller defaults now bind the Hotkeys toggle to
Both Analog Click (L3 + R3). - The Hotkeys HUD row now uses PromptFont’s
Both Analog Clickglyph when controller input is active.
v0.32.7
Section titled “v0.32.7”- Simplified Hotkeys prompt presentation.
- The little square backplates behind Hotkeys prompt icons are now removed, leaving just the prompt glyphs inside the menu rows.
- This avoids the lingering PromptFont-to-box alignment mismatch without changing the active-device prompt glyph behavior.
v0.32.6
Section titled “v0.32.6”- Tightened Hotkeys HUD prompt layout.
- PromptFont hotkey icons now get a small left optical nudge after metric centering so they sit more cleanly over their square backplates.
- Collapsing the Hotkeys panel now also suppresses the engine-rendered prompt overlays for hidden rows, so minimized mode no longer leaks stray key icons below the panel.
v0.32.5
Section titled “v0.32.5”- Improved Hotkeys HUD prompt alignment and menu remapping.
- Hotkeys prompt glyphs now compensate for PromptFont glyph bearings so the visible icon sits centered inside each square instead of drifting right.
Craftingis now a real remappable action in Options instead of a hardcodedCkey path.- Controller defaults now reserve
R3forCraftingandL3forAction Log, and older controller saves migrate those old stick-click defaults offSwap WeaponandToggle Follow.
